The San Diego Community College District Police Department Firearms Training Unit (FTU) will be
training other campus law enforcement agencies in Active Shooter Response. Sponsored by the DRCC, we will be sending members of our
FTU throughout the State beginning in July 2011.
The San Diego Community College District Police Department has partnered with neighborhood residents,
schools, businesses, community-based organizations, elected officials, and government agencies to impact
our community and our campus in a positive manner. Recent examples of our partnerships include the
annual "Shop With a Cop" program, Law Enforcement Torch Run and our work with the Homeless Outreach
Team and the Polinsky Children's Shelter.
