FACULTY/STAFF PARKING IS ENFORCED BEGINNING JUNE 1ST.
STUDENT SUMMER PARKING PERMITS ARE REQUIRED ON JUNE 29TH
NOTE: STUDENT PERMITS PURCHASED AFTER MAY 29 MUST BE PICKED UP IN CAMPUS POLICE.

Each campus of the San Diego Community College District has its own college police substation where parking services are available.  If you need motorist assistance such as a battery jump or you are locked out of your vehicle, or if you need someone to escort you to your vehicle at night you can call the Community College Police Communications Dispatch Center twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at 619-388-6405 or from the College Police button on any district phone.

Campus police offices are located on the following campuses:

  • City College                 Room T-211
  • Mesa College               Room J-202
  • Miramar College           Room B-102

You can obtain parking permits, faculty/staff keys and alarm codes, parking citation appeal forms, visitor parking permits, copies of parking regulations, campus maps and general parking information in any college police office.

The Parking Services administrative offices are centrally located in Mission Valley at:

San Diego, CA 92108

Our hours are:  07:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Mon. – Thurs. and 07:30 – 12:00 noon Fridays

You can pay your parking citations in person with cash, Visa, MasterCard or Visa/MasterCard Debit Cards, you can obtain permits, you can be fingerprinted (for a fee), attend parking citation hearings and/or receive towed vehicle information and releases at our administrative offices only.  For your convenience we have a drop box located outside of this office for 24/7 payments and appeals.

Although we have police officers patrolling and limited parking enforcement on the weekends (permits are not required) the College Police and Parking Services administrative offices are all closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all college holidays.

Parking Waiver Process:

If you are issued a parking ticket, you can simply fill out and return a Parking Waiver Form and return it to any of our police substations at City College, Mesa College, Miramar College, and the Educational Cultural Complex.

Is there carpool parking available?

Yes, at Mesa College there is specifically designated Carpool Parking available in front of the A bldg , near the tennis courts and just east of the Admissions building in parking lot # 1.  A special permit is required to utilize carpool parking spaces.  You can obtain the rules; regulations and a carpool permit application in the Mesa College Police office located in room J-202.

NEW PARKING UPDATES:

The San Diego Community College District is adding over 2,000 parking spaces to our area campuses. Additional updates regarding some of the new construction of these parking structures can be found on both the Mesa College website and the City College website, or at our Parking Services Office.

LiveScan Information

Parking Services also handles LiveScan fingerprinting Services.  LiveScan is available to the general public and all prospective SDCCD employees.  For more information, visit our LiveScan page.
