where and how to report a crime.

Campus driving requires a different mental attitude.  To safely accommodate a large student population, roads in the parking lots were designed for 5 mile per hour traffic. Drivers attempting to exceed 5 MPH will find our congestion, curb parking and pedestrian traffic frustrating.  Stop signs and crosswalks on and around campus are designed to keep students safe. Most of our campuses surrounding city streets are designed and posted for 25 MPH. Drivers must also be observant and slow down when driving near any one of the various high schools and elementary schools near each of our campuses.

Please slow down, arrive on campus well ahead of schedule and be a courteous driver.

College Police Officers are sworn California peace officers under section 830.32(a) of the California Penal Code and possess the authority to arrest and issue traffic citations. Violators are cited into San Diego Superior Court. State law and campus traffic regulations are strictly enforced on and off campus.
